Kiamichi Electric Cooperative (KEC) members can look forward to new things at the 2025 Annual Meeting. It is a tremendous honor to be your CEO as we celebrate a remarkable milestone in our cooperative’s history-our 80th anniversary! Thank you for being here to share this special occasion with us.
Your commitment to our cooperative has been essential in our journey, and it is a privilege to celebrate this moment together. Set for Saturday, October 4, KEC’s Annual Meeting will take place inside the Southeast Expo Center in McAlester off Highway 270. Registration will begin at 8 a.m., and the business meeting will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
Every registered member will receive a grab bag upon arrival and will have chances to win our grand prize of a $600 bill credit. KEC will be giving away over 100 door prizes throughout the morning. Remember, you must register and be present to win, so don’t leave early.
80 years ago, a group of visionary individuals came together with a shared dream of bringing electricity to our rural communities. They faced challenges and uncertainties, but their determination and belief in the cooperative model laid the foundation for what we have become today. As we look to the future, I invite each of you to stay engaged with our cooperative. Your voice is essential in shaping our direction. Your involvement enhances our collective impact and is crucial as we chart our path forward. We are more than just a utility; employees and staff are a vital part of the fabric of our neighborhoods.
